Liability, Terms, and Conditions

By submitting parts, you have voluntarily requested of HI-DEF COATINGS, activities which include, but are not limited to, modifications and alterations to a firearm/compound bow/etc. Any requested alterations and modifications may void the factory warranty, and also be hazardous and/or may affect various safety systems. You are voluntarily requesting that these activities take place with the full knowledge of the dangers involved, which include mechanical failure, damage to personal property, bodily injury, and death, and you hereby agree to accept and assume any and all risks, to include injury or death. As consideration for the services being performed, you agree, for yourself, your heirs, personal representatives, and assigns, to release, indemnify, hold harmless and forever discharge HI-DEF COATINGS, and its agents, employees, officers, and principles, of and from any and all claims, demands, debts, contracts, expenses, causes of action, lawsuits, damages and liabilities, of every king of nature, whether known or unknown, in law or equity, that you ever had or may have, arising from or in any way related to work performed on your firearm or compound bow, even if caused by the negligence of HI-DEF COATINGS, and/or its agents, employees, officers, and/or principles.

By sending parts, you accept the assumption of risk and liability release waiver.

**Safety Disclaimer: Hi-Def Coatings encourages parents to train their children in the lawful and safe use of firearms. Firearms painted in bright colors may look like a toy to CHILDREN! Please educate your children about gun safety and keep your firearms secured and/or in a safe to prevent unauthorized access to your firearms. It is the end user’s responsibility to follow the Youth Handgun Safety Act and hold Hi-Def Coatings harmless from the end users improper misuse.**

Failure to provide a copy of [1] the required ID documentation (FFL or Driver’s License), [2] a signed order form, and [3] a signed copy of the Waiver/Liability Release in the box with your gun, compound bow, or custom project when it is shipped will result in the in-processing of your project being delayed until we receive those items, and will also result in a $25 administrative fee added to your work total.

Orders received without an accompanying completed quote will be charged a $50 processing fee. 

It is your responsibility to comply with all federal and state firearms laws and shipping company policies when sending firearms. Please check your local laws prior to shipping. This only applies to parts designated as “firearms” or when sending a complete firearm.

We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone.

Projects completed and left unpaid for over 60 days will incur a storage fee of $50 a month.
After 60 days, a lien will be placed on any projects unpaid, and can be sold to recoup the overall cost of goods and services not paid.
